We met in 2015, and stepped into our relationship with care and caution. We'd both been married before and had no intention of repeating mistakes of the past.

After a year spend getting to know each other, our two little families became one. We purchased a home in Mooresville and became a family of 5 (9 if you count the furry kids). Since then we've experienced loss, made wonderful memories, suffered hardships, and learned a lot about each other. Most importantly, we've become true life partners and created a bond that can't be broken.

In May of 2019 Shawn had planned a beautiful proposal during a vacation to the Cayman Islands. Wendy inadvertently delayed the proposal by making friends at the resort & scheduling a boat trip. Though a day late, Shawn's sunset proposal at Rum Point made for a beautiful memory.

We've found a perfect fit in one another and truly believe God has brought us together. We're so happy to have you share this moment with us. Our event may be small, but each one of you are loved and important to us.
