Horseback riding at Ross Ranch: This is a ranch out of Elk (15 minutes from Heritage house). You can go horseback riding on the beach. Highly recommended if you are up for an adventure.

Camping at Mendocino Grove: This is a really fun"glamping" spot that would be cool to check out while you are up there.

​Kayaking at Catch a Canoe: We recommend booking in advance as they tend to book up.

Beaches: Big River Beach, Glass beach, & Navarro Beach are our faves!

Wine Tasting at Bee Hunter: Great for a quick tasting on the way up or to grab a bottle for the room. They have great Pinots!

Italian Food at Luna Trattoria: Super cute and cozy!

Goodlife Cafe: Coffee, quick breakfast and lunch. They close at 2pm so it's another one to go early for. You can order online and skip the line. ​

Maccalumn House, Little River Inn, Cafe Beaujolais: All great for dinner! ​
