Drive
San Luis Obispo is about a 3-4 hour drive from Los Angeles and the Bay Area along Highway 101. Have a little extra time? Take Highway 1 (aka Pacific Coast Highway) for a stunning coastal scenic route!
Fly
You can fly into San Luis Obispo via the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP). Transfers/service are available from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, and Phoenix.
Train
There are Amtrak trains to San Luis Obispo daily.
Getting Around
We recommend using a car to get around SLO and if you are interested in sight-seeing around the California coast. Car rentals are easily available. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft are available within SLO as well.
