Times

What time will the wedding ceremony start?

2 pm

What time will the reception start?

5pm

How long will we party at the reception?

Ruby and Wesley will be leaving the reception at 9 pm, and they may leave a little earlier if one or both of them get too tired! So, the reception will end once they leave.

Important Please Read!

Can I bring a +1?

The reception can only hold so many people because it is not very big, so we ask that you do not assume that you have a +1 unless you were told by Wesley or Ruby that you do. We don’t want people having to stand at the reception because there’s not enough seats or getting mad because of this because it will stress Ruby out and we don’t want that on the bride and groom’s big day! If you want to request a +1, please ask Ruby at rubyweiying@gmail.com and we will see what we can do.

Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?

If you would like to take photos during our wedding ceremony, we are okay with that, but please do not be distracting! If you choose to take photos, please stay seated and keep your flash off. We will have professional photographers taking photos during the wedding and we don't want to get in the way of them doing their job well!

Can I take pictures with the bride and the groom?

Yes, you can take pictures with us, but we will be busy taking pictures with our families in the church directly after the ceremony. So, please head to the reception venue! We will try to take our pictures with our families quickly, so we can also head to the reception to party and take pictures with everyone there!

How far away is the reception venue?

The reception venue is about 30 minutes away from the church. It's two turns and then a straight drive the rest of the way.

Should I carpool?

Yes, please carpool to the reception if possible because there is not a lot of parking space at the venue and it is on private property.

Will there be any animals at the wedding?

There won't be any animals at the ceremony. There will be animals at the reception. The owner of the reception venue has chickens that roam around in the grass, and he also has a cat that is friendly that walks around outdoors too. The chickens should not bother anyone, and Ruby asks that you do not feed or throw things at them so that they can stay outside of their coop and be cute!

Other

So, will there be dessert?

Yes! We will have cake at the reception for all of our guests!

Will there be alcohol options or an open bar?

No there will not be any alcohol provided at our wedding. Please do not bring your own alcohol to the wedding either. We would like everyone to be sober! Thank you for respecting our wishes!
