The summer of 2011, Taylor and her best friend, Mary Grace drove 6 hours to St. Simons Island to attend FCA Leadership camp. They were celebrating their last summer as high schoolers about to start the glorified "senior year". As most teenagers believe, Taylor did not know this summer would actually change her life.

At the same time, Wesley traveled a different 6 hour route to end up at the same beachy local.

Taylor remembers seeing a tall, athletic guy whose smile captured her attention. There was some mischief behind those eyes.

Wesley saw a girl walk into the cafeteria and instantly knew she was the person he was going to be with. He wasn't sure when or how, but he knew it was destined.

Alas, this did not mark the time Taylor and Wesley started dating. It only marked the beginning of their memories together.

They spent their senior years in contact, and Taylor managed to visit Wesley's high school town one time that fall. Due to the 3-hour drive, busy schedules, and preparations for college, they grew apart.. but not for long. Wesley would call Taylor every few months to check in.

It was not until June 2015 that Taylor and Wesley started officially dating. They have been partners evers ever since.
