Our story began on November 6, 2021. The day some of our best friends; Chandler Harris & Alayna Hitt got married at The Antler, in Tupelo, Mississippi. Weston was a groomsmen, and I was a bridesmaid. Our first date was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Weston took me out to eat at my favorite restaurant, The Grillhouse in downtown Tupelo. We still get a good laugh when we talk about that night, but while Weston was driving me home, we had a conversation that Weston claims to be the moment he knew that I was “the one.” That following weekend, I went to Savannah, Tennessee for the first time, and that weekend is when I knew that Weston was the one for me. After a year and a half of dating long distance, Weston caught me by surprise in Destin, Florida, when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. In June 2024, we will say I do, and we will finally live in the same State. We are so thankful to God for our relationship with him, with each other, and with all of our family and friends that will be with us on our special day.
