Eleven years ago, Whitney packed her bags and moved to Tahoe City, where fate (and her roommate Stiffler) stepped in. Stiffler brought Whitney to her first Thanksgiving in town, and that’s when she met the man of her dreams: Nick. Unfortunately, Whitney doesn’t remember much of that meeting—she woke up without a tooth—but Nick vividly recalls telling her he was going to marry her… right before he rushed off to Pete and Peters to meet up with someone else! Over the years, Whitney and Nick became the ultimate wing-woman and wing-man duo. Their friendship was built on putting each other first and enjoying every minute they spent together - whether supporting each other through life or spending a snow day producing the final season of Game of Thrones. They haven’t stopped laughing since. Then came one unforgettable night in Mammoth. Amidst a few questionable life choices and the construction of the most epic fort ever built, Nick whispered those three little words to Whitney: “I love you.” Less than a month later, in the middle of nowhere in Idaho, their love story took another leap. Nick was delirious with shingles, Whitney was riding high on hot toddies, and in that glorious chaos, they decided to choose each other. Friendship turned to romance, and a new chapter began. Since then, Nick and Whitney have continued to fill their days with laughter and adventure. From Tahoe City to wherever life takes them next, they’re ready to keep building forts, making memories, ready for whatever adventures life has in store. Through every laugh and every moment, they’ll continue to choose each other, always.

From drunk tattoos to our first "I love you" in an epic fort tent, hot spring makeouts in Idaho, and keeping our "friends to lovers" transition under wraps, Marie has been there for it all. She's supported us, cheered us on, and celebrated every wild and beautiful moment of our journey together. We can’t imagine anyone better to help make our love official!
