The Wayward Goose

Formerly The Blue Goose, this is the bar where we met. It's located in the Edge District. They have pool, darts and board games. They also make a mean lavender vodka lemonade.

Book + Bottle

This is our go-to spot when we're looking to work from a coffee shop. Located in the Arts District, they have the best macarons, delicious tea and really good wine!

Tombolo Books

For our fellow readers, this is the best spot to find new books. It's super cute, warm and welcoming. Located in the Grand Central District, you can grab a book and then head next door to Black Crow to grab a cup of coffee and read.

Intermezzo Coffee & Cocktails

Coffee shop by day and cocktail lounge by night - Intermezzo does both. Located in the Edge District, this spot is super close to great food options.

Wild Child

I (Whit) can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. Located in the Grand Central District, it's my go-to for brunch and date nights. If you're interested in checking it out I highly recommend reservations.

Daddy Kool Records

Daddy Kool is a staple record store in the area with a great collection of new and used music. You may also want to check out the Fair Grounds art installation and the other art and vendors at the Factory complex.
