Our Wedding

Whitney and Alex's story began on a warm August evening in 2021 at a Thieving Birds concert at Magnolia Motor Lounge in Fort Worth. Though they shared many mutual friends, their paths had never crossed—until Whitney took the first step. She walked up to Alex, introduced herself, and, with a smile, asked if he'd buy her a beer. The two hit it off talking late into the night at another bar in the district. Later that week they went to dinner on their first date. Fast forward three years, and here they are—engaged and planning their forever. Plus they still make it a point to see their favorite band whenever they play at Mag’s, where it all began!

Whitney and Jordan met on the first day of college at Trinity University in 2011.  Technically even before the first day- it was the day everyone moved into their dorms! 15 years of friendship and Whitney couldn't imagine her wedding without Jordan by her side!

Whitney and Alexa met working at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in 2017. There was a fairly small group of folks under 30 working at the museum at the time so they banded together quickly, becoming fast forever-friends.

Alex and Jake are family, but also best friends. The cousins have spent much of their lives participating in activities together; roller hockey, baseball, ice hockey...Jake's wedding, and now Alex's!

Colton and Alex have been friends since second grade at Crockett Elementary school in Weatherford. They've remained close all these years, and Colton is actually the reason Alex and Whitney met!

Ryan and Alex were freshman roommates at Texas A&M. They lived together throughout college, along with other members of the "Best Buds".

For those traveling to our wedding, the closest airports are Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (DAL). DFW is approximately 25 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, while Love Field is about 40 minutes away. Guests have several transportation options, including rental cars, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, or the Trinity Railway Express (TRE), which provides a convenient and affordable connection between Dallas and Fort Worth.
