Our Journey

It all began in November 2017 when we swiped right on each other. We both lived in Utah at the time, and our first date was a unique mix of movie-watching and grocery shopping for dinner. It was then that we realized we had something special - a connection that was as unique as the moldy bread we found at a Mexican grocery store. Zach, with his ever-present smile (much like his Boston terrier, Betty), may not have been exactly 6'1", but he stood tall in our hearts.

From that day forward, we embarked on a journey together, crossing states and experiencing life's ups and downs. We've always come out stronger, thanks to our unwavering support for each other. We've become quite the dynamic duo, even if we can't always agree on the best movie to watch.

Our Love for Adventure

We share a deep love for the great outdoors. Nature is our sanctuary, a place where we find joy and peace. From off-roading to hiking, boating to camping, and exploring with our beloved dogs, Ollie and Betty, we've created countless memories in the wilderness.

Our Family

Our love has created a family that includes not only us but also our pets. Alongside Ollie and Betty, we have three cats - Kirby, Obie, and Mr. Sprinkles. Our home is filled with their love, and let's not forget the daily comedic antics of our feline friends. They certainly keep us on our toes and provide endless entertainment.

And we can't forget our dearly departed family member, "Baby Shark," the robot vacuum. Baby Shark had an interesting sense of humor and an unfortunate knack for spreading dog poo on every inch of our floor not once, not twice, but three times. We've laid Baby Shark to rest, but the memories (and the cleaning bills) live on.

The Engagement

Our engagement story is a testament to the magic that surrounds our love. On a family farm in Virginia, during a weekend filled with love and remembrance, Zach took me deer hunting. But as we sat in the tree stand, we both watched a family of deer, choosing not to pick up our guns. Instead, with the sun setting, Zach went down on one knee, and I said "yes." It was a meaningful and magical evening, surrounded by family and love.

Our Wedding

Our wedding date, 02.02.2024, was chosen for its symbolism. Numerology tells us that this date embodies harmony, balance, peace, planning, and commitment - qualities we cherish in our relationship. It's a reflection of the love that binds us together.

The wildflowers at our wedding symbolize our deep connection to nature, reminiscent of our camping adventures in Utah. Monarch butterflies represent transformation and the idea that hurdles are just stepping stones to becoming stronger. The cardinal, with its vibrant red hue, is a symbol of our belief that our loved ones who have passed on continue to live in our hearts.

As we embark on this new chapter, we promise to always support and love one another. Our love story is just beginning, and we can't wait to share it with all of you.
