Dan and Whitney met at the Erie Sports Store in 2012. Dan couldn't stay away from the cash register and loved to call the front desk to talk to Whitney. After a couple years they finally started dating and celebrated at a Bengals/Browns game where of course the Bengals whooped the Browns. They enjoyed watching Sunday Football, Hunter's wings and playing a little backyard football with Dan's nephews. Whitney got Bane in March 2015 and Dan immediately loved him (even though he told Whitney she didn't need a dog). They eventually went their separate ways and Whitney moved to Michigan after college to work as a physician assistant. They reconnected in November 2017 while Whitney was living in Michigan. After a year and a half of a long distance relationship and many 5 hour drives, Whitney moved to Meadville. They got engaged in February 2020 and bought their first house together in March 2020.
