Whitney and Andrew were originally introduced to each other in college in the Spring of 2009 in Fort Collins, Colorado. While always friendly with each other during this time of their lives, their romance had yet to be discovered.

After graduation from college, and 3+ years of post-college self-discovery (Andrew in Phoenix, Arizona and Whitney in Denver, Colorado), Whitney and Andrew’s lives crossed each other’s path once again. Andrew, having just moved back to Colorado, needed a veteran local Denverite to show him around. Whitney happily obliged.

An initial sushi date on 16th street mall, followed by a second paint-night date a week later, was all their romance needed to truly be discovered.

8+ years later, Andrew and Whitney still live in downtown Denver. With shared interests such as Crossfit, sci-fi/fantasy movies, live music, snowboarding, rock climbing, volleyball, trying new restaurants, lying by the pool and fluffy dogs, (along with a mutual lack of interest in driving places, camping and the bland taste green bell peppers), they have been happily discovering new interests and hobbies together and cannot wait to continue to do so for many years to come.

In August of 2021, near a waterfall in Steamboat, Colorado, Andrew asked Whitney to marry him. Whitney said yes and after a little wait to see if a pandemic would tear apart society, Andrew and Whitney plan to get married in the city of Denver, Colorado which is a place that means so much to them.
