As fun as it would be to have a long and exciting story of how they met, much like their personalities, it was very casual and relaxed. In August of 2020, Jordan's college friend (Zach) and Whitney's childhood friend (Marissa) had a friendly gathering at their home in Eau Galle, WI. Like any party, guests spend time introducing themselves and getting to know each other. This is when Jordan and Whitney's first introduction began. At that time, both Jordan and Whitney were in different phases in their life. Whitney was pursuing her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at UW-La Crosse, and Jordan continuing to grow his family farm and get established in his new place of work. A brief introduction and conversation in August of 2020 is where things were left... Fast forward to May of 2023, Whitney was living in Eau Claire, and Jordan in Fountain City. Through the power of a simple Facebook message, they picked up where they left off. They soon realized they had a lot in common, and simple/inconsistent text messages turned into every day conversation. Those conversations turned into dates where they spent numerous hours talking about their family farms and the joys of being raised in such an environment, the Green Bay Packers, hunting, enjoying live music, and of course reminiscing about how they met. In June of 2023 it was time to meet the families. Jordan was warned about how intimidating Troy (Whitney's dad) could be, but their common bond of farming, hunting, and a few beers made the introduction seamless. From there they continued to grow together, getting to know family and friends and learn more about each other's lives and future goals. Over the next year and a half they spent countless hours talking about their future, what it would look like, and all of the exciting opportunities ahead. As the 2024 holiday season approached, Whitney was eager to start decorating, putting up lights and Christmas tree. On the last day of November, they found the perfect tree and spent an evening decorating. As Whitney was finishing the final touches, there was one last important ornament to place and that is when Jordan popped the question. They look forward to celebrating their love and new beginnings with all of their family and friends this fall.

A block of rooms has been set up for September 5th and September 6th 2025 (a two-night stay is NOT required). Check in after 2:30 pm. To book, call (715) 597-5000 and Dial 0 for the front desk. The cut-off date for booking under our block is August 5th, 2025. Shuttles will be provided to and from the hotel and venue.

A block of rooms has been set up for September 5th and September 6th 2025 (a two-night stay is NOT required). Check in time is typically 3pm, early arrivals can be requested but not guaranteed. To book, click the website link or call 715-830-9889. The cut-off date for booking under our block is August 5th, 2025. Shuttles will be provided to and from the hotel and venue.

Holiday Inn Eau Claire South

As mentioned, a shuttle will transport guests to and from the hotels listed above. The shuttle will depart from Holiday Inn (Eau Claire) at 2:45 pm and Super 8 (Osseo) at 3:25 pm to bring guests to the venue. Shuttles will also be available at the end of the night to bring guests back to the hotels at 11:00 pm and 12:00 am. ***Times are subject to change***
