Picture it—Memphis, TN early 2000s. Whitney and Nikita attended Whitehaven High School. They graduated in 2006 and went on to complete college and start their professional careers. It wasn't until their 10 year class reunion in 2016 that Nikita shot his shot, and they began to date. At the time, Whitney lived in Augusta, GA as a dietitian and graduate student, while Nikita lived in Atlanta, GA working in sales.

Their first date took place in Atlanta, GA. They traveled to see each other whenever they could— Nikita would visit Whitney in Augusta, and Whitney would visit him in Atlanta. They turned their casual dating into official courtship in 2018. On August 1, 2022 Whitney moved in with Nikita. On a romantic trip to New York City October 28, 2022 Nikita proposed in Dumbo Brooklyn at 1 hotel. His backdrop was the Brooklyn Bridge and New York City skyline.

On November 25, 2023 in Memphis, TN, where their journey began, Whitney and Nikita will become one. They look forward to celebrating their union with their closest friends and family.
