In 2018 Whitney took an internship with the American Angus Association. Not knowing much about the cattle industry, she was excited to meet anyone and everyone. Cale being heavily involved within the Angus breed attended a leadership conference in Montana where he was introduced to Whitney.

A few minutes into the conversation, they realized they had several mutual friends, and both attended Oklahoma State University. Connecting back in Stillwater, they had their first hangout at Braum’s eating ice cream, and soon began spending more time together. Fast forward a few years and they were engaged.

Much of Cale and Whitney's relationship has been spent on the ranch in Kansas, working cattle and spending quality time together. On May 18, Cale and Whitney headed out to check cows. After checking cows they headed back to the truck where Cale was soon on one knee. “Will you marry me?” he asked followed by the easiest yes Whitney has ever said.

We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together. April 26 will forever be the beginning of something wonderful. Thank you for spending this day with us and for being part of our lives!
