We go to El Jimador for dinner, the first of many Mexican dates. We parked our separate cars in the back, by the dumpsters. As we are leaving, Will tries to kiss Emily. Next to the dumpster. Emily dodges the kiss. Emily goes home and is entirely unsure whether she was reading into the situation or if he actually tried to kiss her.

Will is playing music at Mission Grill, where Emily used to work. We go to Growler Haus afterward and hold hands for the first time. Because Emily cannot deal with ambiguity, we confirm that we are exclusively talking and going on dates but not officially dating.

Will's car gets towed, and Emily drives him to Clemson to get it.

October 19, 2021

We go to Cookout. Will tells Emily that he cannot go to the Homecoming dance because he has drill for the National Guard. Emily cries for the first time about their relationship (how did she not cry before? We may never know.)

Will and Emily go to Fall Fest. They ride the Ferris wheel. Afterward, Will kisses Emily for the first time in his mom's car, in the parking lot in front of Pratt Hall.

Emily takes extra donuts from a commuter event to Will's house, and he kisses her on the top of her head. She decides that this is the cutest form of kiss.

We go to Grady's, eat dinner at Summa Joe's, go to Earle Street for drinks, and then Will plays guitar for Emily at his house.

We go to eCity Java to do homework, and then Will's dad announces that he is going to be in Anderson. Will asks Emily to come to dinner with his dad. Once again, because Emily cannot handle ambiguity, she makes Will have a conversation about what we are. Will says he 'hopes' Emily will be his girlfriend 'soon'.
