We are so happy that you are joining us for this once-in-a-lifetime event (let us know if you changed your mind…)! We have a PSA for you all! Since this is a nice ceremony, it will be appropriate to wear formal dress to it; in addition, as we have many non-Catholic attendees, it is worthwhile preparing those for the idea of Communion. If you are not a practicing Catholic, you should not be coming up to receive the Eucharist. When the time comes, some will go up in line to receive. If you would like to receive a blessing from the Priest or Eucharistic Minister, you are also welcome to follow with arms crossed, but there is no need to fret about whether to join the line as well: remaining in the pews is perfectly fine!
