We would love for our friends and family to select attire within formal or black tie optional! Formal, Black Tie Optional – this is slightly less formal than black tie where fancy cocktail dresses and formal dark suits are acceptable

Our wedding is RSVP only. Due to space and budgeting, we are only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation!

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Please send in your RSVPs by August 11th so we can get an accurate head count!

The ceremony (will be held outside) and reception will both be held at The Hive at Busy Bee which is just north of Indianola, IA right off HWY 65. Off the highway you will see the garden center, please follow the drive way to the left side back to the venue.

Hotel Blocks have been reserved at Hotel Pommier and Country Inn & Suites which are both in Indianola. Transportation will be provided to and from the venue, the buses will pickup at both hotels listed above, the schedule will be posted in the hotel lobby and on our transportation tab on this website.

There is a gravel lot at the venue for guests to park out. Please note if you leave your car overnight, it must be picked up by 11am the following day.

Ceremony start time will be 4pm and should be done by 4:30pm. Please arrive 30 mins prior to ceremony start to ensure all guests are seated before start time.

We ask that our guests either silence or turn off their cell phones during the ceremony. Please no picture taking during this. We have an amazing photographer who will be doing all of this! You are more than welcome to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception!
