This one time at band camp... We met the summer before Maggie's sophomore year and Will's junior year of high school. We got to know each other very well at all the band competitions!

We went to prom together just as friends.

Maggie's first time staying up to celebrate New Year's and meeting more of Will's extended family!

Will graduated high school and Maggie crocheted him this Star Wars afghan for his grad gift!

Throughout high school we continue being best friends and spend a lot of time hanging out with and getting to know each other's families.

Will composed an entire clarinet concerto for Maggie for her high school graduation present!

Our first date at the Omaha Symphony! Maggie asked Will if he would wait until after she graduated high school to ask her out, and he agreed. So, about a month after Maggie's graduation we officially start dating!

We begin dating long distance, with Maggie at UNL and Will at KU.

We enjoyed getting to support each other and visit each other whenever we could!

Long distance meant getting creative about spending time together! We'd have these "lunch dates" where we'd get the same food at the same time but be in different places.

Summer breaks were always highlights for us, where we got to see each other often. This is a picture of us attending our first wedding together! Shout out Jonahs and Grace! :)

Will's college senior recital! He would start student teaching in Gretna in January, so this marks the end of the Kansas to Nebraska long distancing. Yay!

Will's first band concert as a student teacher, which also happened to be on Maggie's birthday. She didn't mind, there's nothing we love more than getting to support each other in what we love doing!

Will graduates from KU and starts teaching as Gretna East High School's Assistant Director of Bands!

Maggie begins her senior year of college and enjoys one last year in the Cornhusker Marching Band!

Will pops the question at a park in downtown Lincoln! We can't wait to begin this new stage of life together! It has been so fun and humbling reflecting on God's goodness and grace towards us in our journey so far. We are so excited to see what His plans are for us!
