It all began in the summer of 2020, on a group trip to Joshua Tree. Trinh and Will first met during a spirited pool game, where Trinh's competitive streak almost led to Will's untimely demise. Despite the memorable encounter, they didn't see each other for almost year.

Their paths crossed again in the spring, at a concert with mutual friends. Will, smitten by Trinh and her adorable dog Bailey, offered to dog-sit for free. His excellent dog-sitting skills earned him another opportunity when Trinh, who would never pass up free dog sitting, went on a trip to Iceland.

Over the next two weeks, Trinh and Will texted each other frequently, getting to know each other better. They bonded over volleyball and tennis, and discovered a shared love for hiking, camping, exploring national parks, and traveling abroad.

Fourteen countries later, Will brought their story full circle by proposing to Trinh on a trip to Iceland. And here we are, ready to embark on the greatest adventure of all—marriage.
