Our Story

It all started with one of those classic near-misses on North Gate. William spotted Sophia out with friends one night and decided he wanted to ask her out. His friends were all in his ear, giving him the full “go talk to her” hype. But just as he was making his move, Sophia left the bar with her group and walked the other way. Later that night, one of William's best friends, David Noble, mentioned he’d actually met Sophia back in 2020 during her freshman year of college. David offered to reach out and see if she'd be open to going on a date. William said yes, David made the introduction, and the rest is history. On October 3rd, 2023, we went on our first date—and have been inseparable ever since. Shout out to Lupe Tortilla in College Station. Since then, we’ve been building a beautiful life together here in Dallas, surrounded by incredible friends and our two goofy, lovable dogs, Duke and Thor. For the past year, we’ve poured our hearts (and a lot of elbow grease!) into remodeling and renovating a duplex in Dallas. It’s been a true labor of love. We’re still working on it, and we wouldn’t have it any other way; every paint stroke and project milestone has brought us even closer. We're beyond excited for this next chapter—starting our marriage and building a home filled with love and laughter. We can't wait to celebrate with the people who matter most—our family and friends who’ve been there through it all. Thank you for being a part of our story. The hotel block is around 30 minutes from the venue, please map accordingly when planning your arrival to the wedding. Hotel block is open for guests attending the rehearsal dinner on September 5th, or just the wedding on September 6th. You do not have to book both nights. Hotel block booking closes August 22nd!
