This story starts how all epic modern day love stories do... Tinder! We met on yes, a dating app. But we didn't officially meet until 6 months later and in that time there were indeed.. challenges (leave it at that, I'm looking at you William. - L You're one to talk Lauren. - W)Okay sorry we're getting off track here back to the story.It was mid August 2021, William asked me to meet at the bowling alley to bowl with Trent, Jacob, and himself. It was a good time, Trent and Jacob talked to me a ton. William did not.Sorry for being focused on the game at hand. - WBowling or losing the girl? - LSorry off track again - we hung out every day after that. (Brief intermission for the bar story - we can cover this at the wedding). Trent loved me after this.Finally, on August 29th the day before classes start we take a walk. I look at William and said - "What're we doing here?" to which he replied, "What do you mean?" (he knew exactly what I meant) - It ended in him saying something along the lines of "well you're my girlfriend now." (pfft didn't even ask) - he has a habit of this so you will learn.

In the beginning...

Fast forwarding one college graduation later and starting long distance within a year of dating... She informed me we got a dog. I was told that our new plus one is named Stitch. (And yes he does go everywhere with us, you love it though - L) He likes me more.. anyways - A ring dunk, another graduation, a few thousand miles of travel, 2 full years of long distance, a few weddings, new nieces and nephews, and lots of oil changes... that brings us up to speed. They were right, distance does make the heart grow fonder. Clearly because he wouldn't leave me alone (you would think his job is texting me). - LPlease her degree is William Science - W

Sometime in between...

2.5 years later... (Finally - L) on March 21st, 2024 it was the big day. The first of many but remember when I said William didn't ask me to be his girlfriend?He forgot to ask me to be his fiancé too.We went to The Commodore Perry Estate (Norrington - if you know, you know) where there is sprawling grounds, great food, and a beautiful bridge under some trees. After a great dinner and a walk through the gardens, we did what we always do - go find trouble. We say this because I don't think the bridge was for public access - but there weren't any signs. After setting up a phone to take pictures I unknowingly, (knowingly) was filming our engagement. His heart was pounding and I could hear it this was a dead give away and with hands shaking he got down on one knee. Took my hand and said, "this is for you" to which I replied, " you have to ask me" then he asked and the rest is happily ever after. We finished the stormy evening at a symphony and began to plan a wedding in the following days - that I may or may not have planned out theoretically already! :)

He always has a practical answer to any question thrown his way.  From playing WWE on the PS2, riding to guitar practice together, to running the table at beer pong, these brothers have been through it all.
