William & Emily had planned a stay in Lake Tahoe for Labor Day weekend. We had planned to walk down to the beach to have a little picnic & drink a little wine whilst soaking up some sunshine ,however when we arrived it looked like it was about to rain, so Emily suggested we go get an early dinner at the restaurant up the road. Will was adamant that he wanted to go sit on the beach for a bit because we don’t get up to Tahoe very often. We set up our blanket & sat down together just looking at the water, laughing & talking, drinking our box wine, then Will fell silent staring at water. He then stood up & grabbed Emily’s hands to pull to standing as well. Emily thought he was just messing with her & there was no way he was proposing… he got down on one knee & asked her to be his wife. Both crying tears of absolute joy, he pointed behind her & Brittney (Emily’s sister in law) popped out from behind the bushes. Will had planned the whole thing, he told Brittney to get there early and park as close to the beach as possible , she saw us walking down the narrow street , and hid in her car, that way the moment would be captured naturally.

We are so grateful for our love & this life we are creating. We cannot wait to officially become husband & wife.
