The closest airport is Palm Springs. Ontario or Vegas might be cheaper or closer than LAX which is about a 3 hour drive with no traffic, but on Memorial Day weekend could be a 5 hour drive on a Friday or Saturday.

We recommend booking a place ASAP as Memorial Day weekend is popular in Joshua Tree. AirBnb is a great option. We have one room available at Sacred Sands. It is luxurious and beautiful. There will be a dinner provided at the reception. We are narrowing down the menu to 2 protein options, Either beef, chicken, or salmon. (let us know if you have a strong preference) And some sort of potato and vegetable side. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or request a vegan option.

Typically it is warm. It could be hot in the day and cold at night. Bring layers. You will want good shoes for walking in the nature environment. You may want to bring a swim suit.
