Do I need a car to get around in Atlanta?

Yes and no. Atlanta has a basic public transportation system called MARTA that will take you from the airport to some neighborhoods, including Kirkwood, where our ceremony is being held, and Decatur, where our welcome happy hour will be. Guests can plan to get around fine between MARTA and Uber. That said, a car is nice, especially if you're interested in doing things not on transit lines.

How can I get to the venue?

Sun in my Belly is very close to the East Lake MARTA station (5 minute walk). We encourage guests to take public transit, Uber or Lyft as parking at our venue is very limited.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Most of the celebration will be inside the restaurant but if the weather is nice we hope to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests on Sun in My Belly's heated and covered patio space.

What's the dress code?

Cocktail attire. Suits (tie optional), formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses (knee length or longer), and dressy separates are all welcome.

Are children invited?

We love to see your kids laugh and play, but ours is an adults-only kind of day. We hope you understand and enjoy the opportunity to have a date night at our kid-free wedding ceremony. Children are invited to join us at our welcome happy hour on Friday, Nov. 1.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to the venue's space limits, we aren't able to allow all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. When you RSVP, this website will state the names of the invitees in your party.

When should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you respond by August 16, 2024 on our RSVP page.

Is there parking at Sun in my Belly, the wedding venue?

Yes there’s a very small lot behind the venue. There’s overflow parking available at Smugs Fitness (2191 College Ave NE), a half a block away from Sun in my Belly. Fun fact: Erica and Willie have been working out at Smugs since 2022. There’s also ample street parking on the streets that surround Sun in my Belly.
