Well, buckle up and get ready for the ride! LOL. So one random day I was on my Facebook (shocker) and I see I have a new friend request. Willo Kennington. In my head I’m thinking “Oh good lord another random dude trying to “be friends”! Gag! Normally I automatically just delete them with no hesitations. I look at this cowboys profile pics and I’m like, “oh please, he’s so into himself!” LOL! I for some reason just ignore it and move on. Thinking, “I don’t know... I’ll come back to it and look again later.” A few days later I go back to my requests and click his profile. I again scan through his pictures. I guess I was in a sassy mood cause I went ahead and accepted the request. Minutes later I get a message thanking me for the add. I’m like, oookaaay?.... I send back “You’re welcome” (with an eye roll lol). That’s it. Nothing else. He’s quiet. Hmmmmm.. um okay?!?! Well days later I’m seeing he is Hilarious with his posts! We are both liking each other’s posts and nothing more is happening, I’m good with that! Just another funny fb friend. Days later comes a Friday, a weekend getaway with 2 of my Best Friends. My BooBoo Dodd and Sueanne. We are off to Dallas for a quick get away from Tyler and just wanna blow money and have fun!!! So we go to Gas Monkey Bar and Grill. Have some drinks and some lunch and off we go to our Hotel to check in. In the truck I get on FB. And BAM there’s another post of Willos. He’s got me curious. (Of course the alcohol doesn’t spike that curiosity at all!!! LOL!) So! I go to his page and send him a private message! “Enlighten Sir! Who are you and Why are you trying to be my friend???” Immediately I get back, “Well, I’m Willo, I work for Big Tex. You came across my “suggested friend” section and I thought you were beautiful. It says you’re single and I’m single, and you look like you wouldn’t murder me! So why not??” Commence the eye roll, Really!?? Whatever dude. So I message back, (the nice version) “Well you look like you’re a player, sooooo” He laughs at me and says, “I’m by far from a player. But Yes back in my day I was, but I’m done with all that.” I immediately responded back with, “Thats what they ALL say!!” He actually messaged me back! (The nice version) “When are you gonna stop being a jerk and let me take you out???” I couldn’t believe he was actually asking me out! Like, dude! Don’t you get it! I’m not buying this! LOL! So for the rest of the night he and I talk trash to each other, flirt, and make each other laugh. Once my night ended and I’m back at the hotel I call him. We talked for hours. We of course continued to be “tough” with each other because we obviously couldn’t be vulnerable! But we kept making each other laugh. (I liked that a LOT!). We say good night and finally go to sleep. I’m up at 9:00 and I immediately text him good morning. He’s got me intrigued now. He doesn’t seem like such a bad guy after all. If he’s so bad, why would he have the funniest sense of humor??? Well, it wasn’t long and he texts back. But he immediately says, “Look, I know you’re not interested, whatsoever. It was fun talking with you yesterday and last night but that’s it. So good luck in life.” (Ummm WHAT! lol) Well time for me to be vulnerable damnit! I immediately texted back and said, “Well, I’m actually interested now..... You have me intrigued... I was a complete butt to you yesterday and last night and you rolled with it!! I’m so not that person. Plus you made me laugh so much!! It’s very refreshing!” My heart is pounding! By my surprise he texts back, “So when can I take you out?” Really??? I responded with “Next weekend!!!”. From that moment on, the jerk attitudes were gone. We couldn’t ask questions about each other fast enough. We talked on the phone for hours every night, texted daily and into the mornings. The next Saturday finally came! Seemed like weeks had past!! It’s finally our date night!! I worked that day, hurry home to shower and get ready! The minutes are going by sooo fast! Makeup on! Done! Now for the hair! Half curled half straight! Guess who’s arrived?!!?! Omgeeeeee!!! Great! He’s going to see me looking Crazy!! Face palm! Deep Breath! I walk out the garage and go to greet him. I’m nervous as Hell!!! He gets out of his truck and we hug. It felt good! And all he could do was compliment me! Dude!! You must be blind!! Lmao!! To this day he still says that ThAt was the moment he knew he was done. He knew he had fell in love (aww heart feels!!) I still think something was wrong with his sight! LOL!! So we come into my home, he watches me finish my hair. We’re listening to music, having a drink. Time for me to change into my outfit for the night. So I go change. I come walking out of my room into the living room and BAM! Willo stops me dead in my tracks and plants a big one on me! Holllllyyyyyy Shamoly!! My heart exploded! I’m blushing now just thinking about it. And now we are off! Our first date. Seemed like forever!!! I chose to go to Texas Roadhouse. I felt that it would be a good comfortable spot. We sat at the bar and laughed all night! I honestly don’t remember if anyone else was in that whole restaurant. It was great! Once we were ready to continue elsewhere we head to Cowboys for dancing. I looove to dance. After several songs he looks at me dead serious, and asks, “soo can you dance in your heels??” Heck Yes Cowboy I can dance!! And thank goodness he can dance too!!! After we danced the night away, the rest is history!!! This journey has been the happiest time of my life Ever! I am Soooo thankful I accepted his friend request because if not, we would NOT be here right now!! At home in bed, he’s snoozing, and I’m up at 1:40 am watching the Bachelor Olympics typing this dictionary of a post! LOL!!!! Real life!!! My life!! Our life!! The BEST LIFE!! #keepingupwiththekenningtons
