Jonathan met Willona in February 2021 a time when the world had shut its doors and life as we knew had changed... little did they know it was going to change FOREVER!!!

Willona stayed in Oudtshoorn with her family while Jonathan served as a Firefighter at an Ammunition Depot in Jan Kempdorp. Their love story spanned a distance of 850+ kilometres across the country.

This did not stop them from seeing one another every chance they got.

"Love knows no distance."

Their journey has been filled with excitement: from hiking the mountains of George to the small picnics together in the park. Since their first meeting, things had changed for the better. Willona sparked a fire in his heart while he left butterflies in hers, making her feel appreciated and as if she were the only person in the world.

Finally, one day Jonathan took Willona on a horseback tour where he surprised her, got down on one knee and popped the question, what else was she supposed to say?

She said yes!
