We met on February 22nd, 2020. The first week we both went back and forth, and thought that we would absolutely never date. Then, we went on a double date to Jefferson’s in Villa Rica and from there, we became inseparable. Our first date was to Atlanta Motor cross on February 29th, 2020. After that, the world shut down and date nights were eating take out in our cars for a long time (thanks COVID). After that, Wasabi became a Friday date night, and Saturdays were spent watching movies and spending the day together. We spend a lot of weekends during the summer at the lake, and when were not at the lake our date night routine continues. We’ve been to Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and gone on short road trips together. Throughout our time together, we’ve grown together and learned what love really is. On Halloween this year, Josh had a surprise up his sleeve, and finally proposed!! In our time together, I (Willow) will have finished two degrees, we will have bought a house for the first time, and have many other firsts and lasts together.
