FAQs

Where should I park?

Recommended parking is at Paul Sawyier Public Library or street parking; 319 Wapping St, Frankfort, KY 40601.

What if the weather is in the air?

We will be at the altar regardless of what Kentucky weather throws at us! We would love to have you celebrate with us, but we want you to be safe first and foremost. Please use your discretion on Saturday, March 8th, and only join us if you feel comfortable with the weather conditions.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Doors to First Baptist Church will open a hour prior to the ceremony, though we recommend arriving about 30 minutes early. This gives you time to park, meander into the venue, and find your seat. With that, we know that life happens and traffic can be unpredictable. If you're unable to make it before the ceremony begins and still wish to join us, please quietly enter the church sanctuary and sit in the backmost row.

What should I wear?

At the end of the day, we just want to celebrate with you! If that means you show up in scrubs and flip-flops, you have our permission, and we'll welcome you with open arms! That being said, if you would like a bit more direction, we suggest semi-formal attire. Feel free to interpret that as you wish, or shoot us a text if this is too vague!

Will the ceremony & reception be at the same place?

No, but First Baptist Church is a quick 5 minute walk (0.2 miles) from The Foundry on Broadway, weather permitting. You also are welcome to drive!

Should I bring anything wedding day?

If you are able to join us on the wedding day, the only things we ask you to bring are yourself and shoes to dance in (or go barefoot if that's your prerogative)!

How do I know the night is over?

We will have a send-off at 11:45 PM day-of and would love to spend time with you until then, but also completely understand if you leave earlier than that! Whatever aligns with your preferred schedule best is when we encourage you to head out.

How do I RSVP?

You will RSVP electronically on this website when formal invitations are sent. The tab may not appear right now, but eventually there will be a "RSVP" tab on the top ribbon or page dropdown.

When should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by February 8, 2025. If we don't hear from you, we will unfortunately have to assume you are unable to join us.

What should I do if I can't make it?

We will miss you and hope to see you soon! If you are unable to join us on the wedding day, we kindly ask that you select 'Decline' on the RSVP to give us a heads up.

Can I bring a plus one?

Though we could easily extend our guest list, we are limited because of size of our venue. Your invite (and RSVP tab) should clearly indicate who the invite is for. Don't fret, though! We will make sure you're seated at a table with people you are familiar with for the dinner portion of the evening if we were unable to give you a plus one.

Where should I book my hotel?

We have travel accommodations listed on the 'Travel' tab on this website, though you are not obligated to use any of those options.

Should I be getting texts on y'all's behalf?

Yes! We were looking for a uniform way to reach out to our guests so we wouldn't accidentally forget anyone. We hope to send gentle reminders about RSVP deadlines, parking instructions, pictures post-wedding, and more through this number. There aren't fees attached, but if you would like to unsubscribe, just shoot one of us a text so we can communication with you another way.

Where can I find the registry?

Please know that your presence at our wedding is the most precious gift of all. While your gesture is appreciated beyond words, there is no pressure whatsoever to purchase a gift. For those who wish to contribute, though, our registry can be found under the 'Registry' tab on this website. Feel free to bring any gifts to the wedding or send them to the shipping address listed to make things as easy as possible for you. Additionally, if you'd prefer to bring a card on the wedding day (which is also completely optional!), we will have a designated drop-off area at The Foundry on Broadway for that.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

If you have specific dietary restrictions, please let Wilson or Nicole know as soon as possible; we will work to accommodate those as best we can!
