August 31 is Winnie & Joe's anniversary and a day that they always make sure to spend celebrating another year of their love together. They have chosen different adventures throughout the year, and can't wait to add their wedding to the timeline!

University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign

This was the day Joe and Winnie became official and started their love story.

Seattle, Washington

Joe and Winnie were long distance at the time in Seattle & Chicago, so Joe visited Winnie in Seattle and surprised her at work with flowers. They spent the evening at a famous restaurant at Pike Place and getting bubble tea after.

Glacier National Park, Montana

Winnie and Joe spent the day on a beautiful hike in Glacier National Park. Hiking is one of their favorite activities to do together. They actually found their love for alpine lakes together which is why Joe proposed at one.

Denali National Park, Alaska

Winnie and Joe did their first backpacking trip together! They paved their own trail at Denali National Park in Alaska and set up camp with a beautiful view. A park ranger mentioned that they were sharing their grid with a grizzly bear. Although it kept them up all night, there was no meet and greet.

Iceland

Winnie and Joe spent their day kayaking around glaciers and found this really cool ice cave that created! They got a waterfront AirBnb where they enjoyed the jacuzzi and watched the sunrise.

The Dolomites, Italy

Winnie and Joe did their first via ferrata in the dolomities and had an absolute blast! They had amazing views the whole way and enjoyed a nice hot meal at the hut at the summit. They also stayed at a mountainside chalet bed & breakfast where they enjoyed different jacuzzi's and spending time together.

Bali, Indonesia

Winnie and Joe started the day by making silver jewelry together! They cut pieces of silver, and their designs and molded it all together. They also got an AirBnb with architecture that they loved and an in-home chef & massage to celebrate their anniversary.
