They first met each other in 2008, in their fifth-grade elementary class at Allesandro Elementary School in Los Angeles. They bonded over their shared love of the Beatles, dubbing their friendship together as "Beatle Buddies" becoming best friends. Though what Ashley hadn't known was Wyatt's unwavering crush on her. Until the very last day of 5th grade, Wyatt finally spilled the beans and told one of his classmates – word quickly spread and Ashley finally found out. Though only a short glance was shared between the two of them, their parents pulled them away to celebrate their 5th grade culmination, postponing a love story rekindled 14 years later. As Wyatt and Ashley went on to live their lives, only keeping tabs on one another through social media, Wyatt stayed in Los Angeles, graduating from California State University, Northridge in English Literature. Ashley joined the United States Navy as a Spanish Linguist, getting stationed in San Antonio, Texas and later Fort Meade, Maryland. Fast forward to April 2022, it happened. Ashley was back home in Los Angeles visiting her family and Wyatt decided to reach out to his best "Beatle Buddy." The two caught up over KBBQ in Koreatown and six months later, Wyatt was packing his car to drive across the country to Baltimore, Maryland to “see about a girl.”

Wyatt and Ashley's love story has been 15 years in the making!

Our Story

Ashley and Heather met almost 20 years ago in Los Angeles, CA. She lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband Steven and baby boy, Jacob; who’s also the ring bearer (and has the coolest godparents, Wyatt and Ashley of course)!

First meeting in Los Angeles over 15 years ago, the Pop n Lock extraordinaire has known Wyatt since he was a wee lad. He lives Austin, TX with his wife Grace and the pair share a handsome Shiba Inu named Koga!

Billy Strmiska

Ashley's younger sister and Kpop fanatic who can "Dance the Night Away". She's following Wyatt's footsteps and is currently majoring in English.

Allyson De La Cruz

Romeo, the resident "jack of all trades", met Wyatt over a decade ago and the two have been cracking jokes ever since! He runs his own window cleaning business and lives in Boise, Idaho with his 2 kiddos and wife April.

Ashley's younger cousin and a matcha addict. She's currently a student at Cal State LA, studying social work and childhood development.

One of four of the original "Canby Boys," Wyatt and David were roommates in college and even worked in accounting together for a year and a half. A regular Jeep enthusiast, there's never been a car he didn't know everything about.

Ashley's younger cousin but you can call her "Bomsie/Bamsey". She's finishing up her 2nd year of highschool and is a national US Colorguard champion.

Dallas and Wyatt have known each other for over 15 years! First bonding over a shared love of video games, Dallas and Wyatt have stayed friends since the two eventually relocated to the east coast.

One of Ashley's bestest gals in the Navy. She’s the strongest CrossFit girly you’ll ever meet. Need a drinking buddy for the night? Toni's your girl; the Sailor Jerry Connoisseur.

The Nobleman of NorCal, Jeremy and Wyatt first met through the bestman, but with time and a lot of jokes, the two eventually became just as close. Jeremy resides in Tracy, CA with his two kids and wife Loreli.

Camille and the bride have known each other since the day Ashley was born, 2nd generation besties! (Their moms have been BFFs for over 30 years!)

Lucas and Wyatt's friendship go all the way back to college to their class in Shakespearian literature. Over countless Mango Carts and endless conversations, the two have been close friends ever since.

Ashley's future sis-in-law! She loves to travel, eat yummy food, and drink n̶a̶s̶t̶y̶ good tequila. Gerri is a respiratory therapist in San Diego, CA and lives with Ashley's oldest brother Jo and their dog Aspenita.

First meeting over 15 years ago, Divonne was once Wyatt's church youth group leader helping him mull over his 2-minute sermon. Divonne now is a talented rapper and performer by the name of WINS, in Boise, ID. Check him out on Spotify!

Initially meeting in Key West, FL, Marco and Wyatt instantly became best buds. With a shared love of BS, fishing, and Modelo, the two have become dangerously inseparable. Originally from Austin, TX, Marco has a beautiful family with his wife Presley, daughter Indi, dog Honey, and cat Henry.

Another one of Ashley's bestest gals she met in the Navy while stationed in San Antonio, TX. She is a massage therapist and an honorary Filipina; loves karaoke, rolling lumpia, and taking shots!

One of the 4 original "Canby Boys," Erik and Wyatt met in college have shared more than one drink on occasion. Another car enthusiast, make sure to ask him about his classic Mustang. Erik and Wyatt also worked together in West LA for 2 years after college.

Ashley's high school best friend and 2nd favorite dance partner (close 2nd to Mr. Samuelson). Saziel lives in Glendale, CA and is a registered nurse by day, ABG by night.

A detailed email will be sent on how group booking will work. Keep in mind this is an all-inclusive resort so unlimited food and drinks (including alcohol) are included during your stay!

A cenote is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes&nbsp;groundwater. There are thousands of cenotes all across Mexico but&nbsp;the best ones can be found in the Yucatan Penninsula&nbsp;which is home to over 6,000.
