Wedding Party

JheeDee Washington & Jason - Bridesmen
Before I begin, I will have to tell you that and I are sharing this couple. We couldn't decide what side to put them on, so it looks like they will have to do a little bit of both! The first word that comes to mind is FAMILY. (Jason is actually blood relative. He is his first cousin on his father's side.) Jason and have always had a relationship, but it seems within the past 7 years, it has become more like a brotherhood. Jason has the calmness to put you at ease, always the right words to help you get on a better path, and the biggest boldest bravest heart of anyone we know. He also wears his heart on his sleeve better than anyone i know. He's a protector, a lover, and a different kind of human being. They don't make em' like this anymore! As far as JheeDee, for those of you who know him, no explanation is necessary!! For those who don't, well there are not enough words in the dictionary to describe this fantastic, thrilling ball of energy, whose vibrant personality and witty charm brighten up any room or mood. He can be serious, he can be soft. He can be a DIVA, and yet still be a gentleman. No party would be complete without him, no friendship as strong without him. From day 1 of meeting them on that hot and sunny reunion day in Pa, I knew they would be in our lives forever. They have never once faultered when we needed them. never once judged when they could have, and never once proved that their love and frienship wasn't 100 percent real. They get us, as individuals and a couple. They love us unconditionally. These are the true definitions of FAMILY. Jason and JheeDee celebrated their one year anniversary just a couple of weeks ago. What a special moment to be a part of. We loved sharing that day with them, with full admiration, adoration, and a never ending bond between "siblings"...and you know what, there's no need to use the quotation marks.....because they are xxoo
Tobey Tait
Tobey Tait - Bridesmaid
Tobey and i go waaaaaayyyy back, all the way to California times. We are like 2 peas in a pod. She always gets me in trouble...but I kinda like it! We've been through it all....bad breakups, roomies, good parties and ohhh so many bad ones, family events, and hospitals. Tobey and I actually lost touch for a few years. I am so happy that we reconnected....a true love story never ends!
Patrick Curry - Man of Honor
Before writes his thoughts about Pat, I'd like to say a few things. I've heard a lot of crazy stories about their college days, some I may not even believe, but when I see these two guys together there's no doubt in my mind they are the best of friends. They are both hard working business men, but when they let loose (which I love) their energy and spirit is contagious! I am so happy has a brother in Pat. I know he will always be there for him, for advice, for frienship,or just to push another beer on him! I love what Pat brings out of , and vice versa. I'm so glad your family is a part of our life..xxoo
Liz Ricks
Liz Ricks - Bridesmaid
Liz and I also go waaaaaayyy back. This is another one of my California girls. When we met, we were working at the beach at "The Cheese!". Ohhh what times! Liz is one of my youngest best friends, however, she is wise beyond her age. She got a head start before all of us. She has a beautiful family of 5!, that is soon to be 6, right before the wedding! It's funny, I always felt that Liz looked up to me, but I now find myself looking up to her.
Kathy Arianoff
Kathy Arianoff - Bridesmaid
This is my Vegas love. When I moved out there to do my first big gig, I knew nothing, or no one. Kathy took me in, like a lioness with her cub, protected me, and showed me the way. She taught me so many things about performing and showbiz under the big lights of the Vegas scene. I learned a lot of hard lessons out there, and Kathy was never far behind when i fell. She also helped me transform into the fabulous diva i am today. (It takes one to know one!) She helped me grow into a strong, sexy, fearless woman. She taught me how to put on lashes, secure my weave, and get out there in the big bad world. I owe part of who I am today to this amazing woman.
Danny Kim
Danny Kim - Bridesman
Of course I have to say a few things about Danny Kim myself, he's one of my favorites!! You see that smile on his face? Well, it's like that all the time! From the moment i met Danny, he acted like we knew each other for years! He never declines an invitation to one of our events, he's the biggest helping hand when I can't seem to find , and he probably one of the best story tellers I know! Saying he's a gentleman is an understatement. Danny knows a bit about old school chivalry, he makes all the women feel special :) Whoever catches this one is going to be one lucky lady....Love you DANNY KIM!!!!
Kevin Fitzgerald
Kevin Fitzgerald - Groomsman
The most authentic Irishman around.... Kevin and met in 2001, in none other than the 'Banche Pub" in NYC....okay we are just kiddng, but they might of well have. They actually met through work, but the" Banche" quickly became their second home. These two guys had many connections. They worked in the same industry, they both share a passion and love for golf, they lived right across the street from each other, and many say that they are each others doppelganger . always refers to Kevin as a "brother from another mother, " which I'm sure has a little something to do with envy for Kevin's authentic Irish roots. He's got a killer accent! We don't get to see Kevin often, he is raising a beautiful family with his wife Kerry in fabulous Connecticut. However, when we do, it's like no time has passed. The scotch is quickly poured, the faces swiftly reddened, and the friendship always rekindled. We LOVE YOU KEV!
Whitney Fiore
Whitney Fiore - Bridesmaid
Here's another one for the books. This woman and I were arch enemies when we first met. We lived across the street from each other, on a gorgeous beach block in Manhattan beach, CA. She's a skinny little thing, but she drove a massive turquoise green pick up truck that barely fit in her driveway. It was a daily struggle with Whitney and I. She was constantly trying to run over my little helpless chihuahua Paulito, screaming her lungs out as she sped away. Who would have thought that today she would be like a sister to me. "Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there."
Brandon James & Miguel Molina
Brandon James & Miguel Molina - Bridesmen
What would life be without these 2? As a pair they are over the top, and individually, two amazing men that couldn't be more different. Brandon & Miguel are friends that i have made within the past 5 years however, that says NOTHING about our friendship. Uncontrollable laughter, harmonies that are on FLEEK, heart felt late night conversations over craft cocktails, life moments, love stories, DRAG SUPERSTARS...these are just a few reasons these extremely talented men are my dear friends. Hearts of gold, shimmering from ya weave to ya toes HUNTY!!!! I could not be more proud to have these two gentlemen by my side.
Rita Baker Copeland
Rita Baker Copeland - Bridesmaid
Rita B! This southern belle has been in my life for quite some time. When I moved back to NYC from California, I picked up right where I had left off 7 years prior....The good old ANGELO & MAXIES on Park Ave. Not much had changed, AT ALL, but the staff was totally different, minus a few oldies but goodies. Rita, was one of the many lovely women I got to know during my time there. All of them, especially Rita, would end up becoming friends for life. There is a special kind of bond that happens over a period of time when your working a Thursday double, hopping into city crab for a mid shift drink, fighting with the Pakistani coffee man over giving him an extra $5 for NOTHING, playing booze patrol, and having an owner who "just ain't right!!!" The years we spent in and out of the restaurant are so special to me. We've been through it all, and not a minute of it wasn't done without laughter. Rita is my happy place, she's my sassy New Orleans sista, she's my strong willed artistic half, and of course, my co planner extraordinaire! I love you Rita B!!!"One, I take of my lock, two..I put MY LOCK IN THE SOCK!!!!!""Did I say BISCUIT.......BISCUIT!"
Burt & Lana Zabotinsky
Burt & Lana Zabotinsky
These two are not in the wedding party, but they might as well be, because what is a party without Burt & Lana!? As most of our friends already know, my parents are a permanent fixture in my life. I drag them everywhere! Any Christmas crawl, any Birthday extravaganza, any Summer Smash....they are there, and they are usually the life of the party! They have become a part of our inner circle of friends and I know we wouldn't have it any other way. I learned many things growing up in the Zabotinsky household ...."turn off the lights, don't touch the thermostat, watch the walls!!" (hehe)....but really, what I truly learned, was that no matter what happens in my life, no matter how hard we fight, how much we agree or disagree, how loud we yell, I will always be supported and loved unconditionally by my parents. We are each other's biggest fans and best friends. I have to really pay great thanks to my parents for throwing me the wedding of my dreams. They never blinked an eye. Even as an older bride, there was no question in their minds that I shouldn't have everything I wanted and more...it's kinda been a theme throughout my whole life. I love you both very muchThank you for always loving me unconditionallyThank you for being the best you always could beThank you for being you xxoo
Veronica D' souza
Veronica D' souza - Bridesmaid
Miss "V"....My long time friend, my fellow doggie Mommy...this lady and I go way back to Angelo & Maxie's days in NYC, and we've kept our connection ever since. My friendship with Veronica has grown over the years. We are always learning more and more about each other. It is so interesting, we became close without even knowing all the "details" of ones life and pasts, but it happened because we just like spending time with each other. This woman is such a kind soul, she'll do anything for you. She has nursed me back to health after too much sweet vermouth in my martini, she's made delicious meals for me, she has glammed me out with the most fabulous jewelry, and she has lent me her dogs as a fuzzy, cuddly sleeping companions. I am so happy to have her standing up there for me on my special day. It wouldn't be the same without her. I can't wait to build stronger bonds and deep roots with this special woman...she is a true friend."
