We met on Bumble, and what began as light, casual conversations quickly blossomed into something much deeper. We found ourselves talking about our interests, passions, and long-term life goals, discovering just how much we had in common. Before we knew it, we were planning our first date for July 5th, 2020. We kept it simple, enjoying some Korean BBQ followed by Cold Stone ice cream. That day marked the beginning of something special.

Then, just as we were starting to get to know each other better, the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. The lockdowns made meeting up more challenging, but we didn't let it get in the way of us growing closer. We figured out ways to stay connected and see each other, even during those tough times when everything felt uncertain. Our relationship only grew stronger as we navigated through it together.

By December of 2020, we decided to take a big step and moved in together. It was a new chapter, filled with excitement and a little nervousness, but we were ready. Our first apartment together was where we experienced so many of our “firsts” as a couple.

At the time, our little family was just the two of us and our cat, Sophie. But as we settled into our relationship, our family began to grow. First came Cholula, our second cat, who quickly became part of our daily lives. And then, after we moved into a new space together, we adopted our third cat, Boba. Each addition to our family made everything feel even more complete.

Though we dream of traveling the world together, we are just as content to cozy up by the fire with our cats, playing games, solving puzzles, and reading. Whether we’re embracing our introverted side or being social and extroverted, we’ve found a beautiful balance in our lives. There’s a quiet joy in those simple, everyday moments that make life so fulfilling.

Through it all—the highs and lows, the big milestones and the quiet moments—our journey together has been filled with love, laughter, and so many beautiful memories. The rest, as they say, is history.
