Siri, play "First Date" by Blink-182

Riley and Morgan went on their first date on November 22nd, 2024 after matching with each other on a dating app. They met for appetizers and cocktails at Rose Cafe, right off of the romantic Katy Trail in heart of Uptown Dallas. This was followed by dinner down the way at the lively Katy Trail Ice House, a Dallas staple. After dinner, the two made their way to the American Airlines Center to attend a Kacey Musgraves concert. Talk about a packed first date!

Siri, play "Fallin' for You" by Colbie Callait

Over the coming weeks and months, Riley and Morgan went on many more dates, and spent pretty much every free moment they had together. Riley was drawn to Morgan's selfless and caring personality, exemplified by her passion for nursing, while Morgan (a former band student herself) was enamored by Riley's love for teaching music. Despite their demanding jobs, they made time to travel to Austin, Fredericksburg, Chicago, and even Red River, New Mexico!

Riley popped the question to Morgan on October 4th, 2025 at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. She said "Yes!" After taking engagement photos all around the Arboretum, they celebrated with close friends in family at a surprise party at their house in Lake Highlands.
