Our Wedding

Our journey began with a simple swipe right on Tinder. In February 2019, while Brooke was home for family day weekend from Carleton University, which started as a casual chat over Snapchat quickly turned into something more. After months of talking, Brooke and Xander finally met in person, and their first date was nothing short of magical. Picking up Brooke in his Red Truck, Xander romantically decked out the back in twinkle lights, snacks and an air mattress, all ready for a night at the drive-in. From that moment on, Brooke and Xander have shared the past six years together. They have shared countless adventures from Costa Rica to Florida to the Bahamas, Hawaii, Holland, Cuba, Nashville, and of course, Alberta, where Xander asked Brooke to marry him last year. Brooke and Xander added their sweet dog Nala to their family and recently bought their first home together. Through every trip, challenge and late-night laughs, their love has grown stronger. They are excited to start this next chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you.
