The story of Xandra and Shane is unlike any other you have ever heard or even imagined.

Part I

The Beginning

These two lovebirds met in the midst of a Bellingham Spring at the University of Western Washington. It started, unsuspectingly, in a class for them to become Resident Advisors in the upcoming academic year. While they didn't really speak, it gave them an opportunity to become familiar with each other.

The following year, they worked on adjacent staffs and ended up talking here and there and playing on a volleyball team together. That Spring, they found out that they would be working on the same staff the next (academic) year and they started to spend a little more time together, but were interrupted by the Summer.

Here's where it really gets good though. During their time on staff together, the two of them began to like each other and then began dating! During this time, Shane fell in love with Xandra, and vice versa. He is, unfortunately, so much older than Xandra that he ended up graduating first and they broke up ;,(

TLDR: Xandra and Shane began dating at WWU and fell in love, but ended up breaking up after Shane graduated ;,,(

Part II

The Rekindling

These two invisible string candidates kept in touch after breaking up, Xandra up at Western and Shane below Western. A couple visits up to Bellingham led to more talking which led to the two rekindling their relationship on 4/26/16.

With the timeline that was just introduced in the story, you may be thinking, geez, this wedding has been a long time coming, and you are absolutely right! We have been building our bond, trust, love, and inside jokes with each other over this almost decade-long relationship. These two goofballs were made for each other. The Mac to one another's Cheese. With their love for each other, they will continue to grow together, forevs.
