Why are we celebrating our wedding in Vietnam?
After our wedding, we're starting our life together in Australia. We've decided to have a wedding in Vietnam so Lia (Linh)'s family and friends can celebrate with us, especially since she'll be marking other milestones in Australia.
Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to honour us with a gift. A wishing well will be available at the reception.

The ideal time to purchase tickets for January is between April and July.
How much is a reasonable price for flight tickets?
Usually, round-trip tickets range from $1000 to $1400 per adult, varying with airlines and dates. However, budget airlines provide alternatives as low as $900 for the same journey.
What is the name of the closet airport to the wedding?
It's called Danang International Airport (DAD).
Do we need a visa to enter Vietnam?

E-visa fee: $25/single-entry.
While e-visas typically take less than a week to process, we strongly advise applying at least one month prior to your departure date.

Is there Uber in Vietnam?
In Vietnam, there is no Uber; instead, people use Grab or Xanh SM, which is the same as Uber.
What season will it be in Vietnam?
It will be spring, with temperatures ranging from 19 to 28 degrees.
Can we book a different accommodation not listed in the suggestion list?
We suggest these three hotels with varying price ranges to accommodate different budgets. They are near the bride, groom, and their families and staying here keeps all guests close for any tourism activities. These hotels are also centrally located in Danang, making everything within walking distance.
However, guests are free to choose their preferred accommodation beyond the suggested options.
What is the time difference in Vietnam?
In January, the time in Vietnam will be 4 hours behind Sydney time.
Can we drink tap water in Vietnam?
No, sorry. Opting for bottled water is the safest choice, but you can also boil tap water to make it safe for consumption.
Do I need a travel adaptor for my electrical appliances?
You might need a travel adapter for your electrical appliances as Vietnam mostly uses Type A and Type C sockets, which are different from Australia's. You can easily find these travel adaptors online or at stores like Amazon, BigW, JB Hifi or Kmart.
