Things to Do

Summer is the best time to visit Washington state! Lots of great places to explore in Bellingham as well as Seattle! Here are some recommendations.

Whatcom Falls Park

Bellingham Farmers Market

Pike Place Market

85 Pike St, Seattle, WA 98101, USA

Most famous waterfront farmer market in Seattle. Some popular places are the first Starbucks store (super long line), Gum Wall (gross...), Piroshky Piroshky (Russian pastries), Beecher's Handmade Cheese (pretty cool to see them hand make cheese through windows) and etc. Expect this place to be pretty crowded.

Seattle Center

Seattle Center hosts all the most popular tourism places in Seattle. Space Needle, Museum of Pop Culture, Chihuly Garden and Glass. Strongly recommend going to the top of Space Needle during sunset if it's a good day.

Bainbridge Island Ferry

One best way to view Seattle skyline in our opinion! You can get on the ferry boat either in person or in a car. The trip to Bainbridge Island takes roughly 35 minutes.

Grey's Anatomy fan? If so this is a must-visit for you.

Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar

Taylor Shellfish Oyster is our favorite oyster place! This farm is one of which they harvest their oysters from. It is also in the middle of the way from Bellingham to Seattle. Also look up Taylor Shellfish Oyster Bar if you happened to be an oyster fan and travel in Seattle.

Mount Rainier National Park

Icon in the Washington landscape. You can see it so many times a day in Seattle. If you are not too interested in hiking, strongly recommend you to take Mt. Rainier Gondola which is at Crystal Mountain (check out https://www.crystalmountainresort.com/things-to-do/activities/mt-rainier-gondola).
