We’ve reserved the space from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and a few special activities will kick off around 6:00 PM. Please plan to arrive between 5:30 and 6:00 so you don’t miss anything!

We’re calling it formal, but feel free to come dressed anywhere between semi-formal and formal—whatever makes you feel good and celebration-ready. The space is outdoors in a private side courtyard with a clear overhead shelter, so please dress comfortably for the weather that day.

The celebration will take place at a restaurant near Dupont Circle in D.C. The closest Metro stops are Dupont Circle (Red Line) and Farragut West (Blue/Orange/Silver Lines). We’ve also included some lodging options near the venue under the Travel section if you’d like to stay nearby. If you’re flying in, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is the closest airport to where we live. If you choose to stay near us after flying into BWI, we’ll happily drive you to the restaurant on the day of the celebration.

Yes. There is metered street parking available near the venue, typically with a 3-hour limit. If you prefer valet, the Courtyard Marriott directly across the street from Iron Gate offers valet parking for $30 per car.

We’ll start with some light plated snacks, followed by a three-course family-style dinner. Drinks will be served on a consumption basis and covered by us. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP so we can make sure you’re taken care of.
