Xitlali and Luca love story began like many modern-day romances with a swipe. Luca sent the first message “ Howdy I like your style” and Xitlali thought he was funny and decided to respond back. They quickly realized they found in each other what they’ve been searching for - someone kind, honest, supportive, and someone who shared their values and interests.

La historia de amor de Xitlali y Luca comenzó como muchos romances modernos con un "like". Luca envió el primer mensaje “Hola, me gusta tu estilo” y Xitlali pensó que era gracioso y decidió responderle. Rápidamente se dieron cuenta de que habían encontrado en el otro lo que estaban buscando: alguien amable, honesto, comprensivo y alguien que compartiera sus valores e intereses.

The proposal happened on April 8, 2023. On a beautiful Saturday- Luca got together with a couple of Xitlali friends to plan the perfect proposal. Luca always knew Xitlali’s dream proposal was in a garden surrounded by many flowers/ greenery. Luca hid behind a bush while Xitlali and her friends were taking pictures and once Xitlali and her friend were close to an arch the photographer asked her to spin. Luca came out of the bush while her back was facing him and once Xitlali turned around Luca was there with a bouquet of white flowers. Luca got down on one knee and asked Xitlali if she will marry him. With happy tears in her eyes and processing what is going on she told Luca “SIIIII”. ( we did not notice that she had said yes in Spanish until we looked back at the video”.

La propuesta se produjo el 8 de abril de 2023. Un hermoso sábado, Luca se reunió con un par de amigos de Xitlali para planificar la propuesta perfecta. Luca siempre supo que la propuesta soñada de Xitlali era un jardín rodeado de muchas flores y vegetación. Luca se escondió detrás de un arbusto mientras Xitlali y sus amigas tomaban fotografías y una vez que Xitlali y su amiga estuvieron cerca de un arco el fotógrafo le pidió que girara. Luca salió del arbusto mientras ella estaba de espaldas a él y una vez que Xitlali se dio la vuelta, Luca estaba allí con un ramo de flores blancas. Luca se arrodilló y le preguntó a Xitlali si se casaría con él. Con lágrimas de felicidad en los ojos y procesando lo que estaba pasando, le dijo a Luca “SIIIII”. (No nos dimos cuenta de que ella había dicho que sí en español hasta que volvimos a mirar el video”.
