Yakiv and Adriana’s journey began in Ukraine at a Kids Camp in 2021, where fate placed them together as a team—Adriana as a helper for Yakiv. Interestingly, neither of them was from the hosting church, yet the camp organizers paired them up. After camp, they crossed paths a few times at youth nights, but they didn’t truly connect until nearly 2 ½ years later.

About a year ago, Yakiv reached out to Adriana, sparking a new chapter in their story. As they grew closer, their bond deepened, leading to a significant milestone: Adriana’s arrival in America just three months ago. It was then Yakiv knew it was time to take the next step. On October 23rd, 2024, he proposed—and the rest is history!
