As you may have seen on the news, the Covid19 situation does not seem to be getting any better. As a result of this, we unfortunately have to postpone our wedding celebrations in Vancouver indefinitely.

All of you Vancouverites know that I am a SUSHI LOVER. Which means those that are feeling adventurous from across the pond need to go and try this place. Try the aburi sushi!!
Or message me personally and I will probably be able to recommend sushi in specific areas.
If it's sunny (though unlikely in September) you can cycle around the seawall, and still have a nice little tour around Downtown Vancouver.
BC is definitely known for the great outdoors, so visiting the suspension bridge is a nice way to spend the morning, breathing in the fresh air and the smell of trees!
Whistler is a nice getaway for a few days, or a day trip even! This is where you can go on the Peak to Peak gondola that traverses between mountains. On the whole route down the Sea to Sky highway, there are lots of observation points with scenic views. Also, there are lots of hikes to do!
If you fancy hiking up some mountains to taste some glacier water, let us know early (Geoff and I want to go too!). This hike was tough... but definitely worth it!
Granville Island is also a nice place to stop at for some hidden gems. Indulge in some decadent DONUTS (Lee's doughnuts), a souffle clam chowder... and also for the ones joining us from UK, some pubs there too!
For those wanting to try authentic Korean food, North Road in Burnaby has some late-night options which include some really good FRIED CHICKEN / desserts.
For past 12am eats, there are a few Korean places open which are more 'shady' but have good fried chicken / drinks, just message me!
When in Downtown, try to pass by Gastown to look at the steam clock. Tourists will be gathered there waiting for steam to come out of a clock... fun right?!
Obviously it's not a guarantee, but whale watching is quite nice if you are going to take a ferry over to Vancouver Island (needs to be with a car).
Home to the set of Once upon a time (Netflix series), this fisherman's village is a nice place to just chill and have ice cream.
I also love Steveston Pizza Company, where they have an $850 caviar pizza ... but also something more affordable and tasty is a 'water' pizza, which is a pizza with seafood.
After that, if you're feeling warm and adventurous, get a SCREAMER. These are slush puppies on the bottom topped with ice cream... it's basically a brain freeze that will last for hours.
As all of you know, Geoff is a fried chicken fanatic... we've tried and tested many fried chicken joints (KFC, Popeyes, Churches), but we've gathered that L.A Chicken is the BEST. I am also sure my Vancouver friends can all back me up on this.
Just TRY IT.
