Yeeun (Sylvia) and Yaesung (Alex) first met at All Nations Church when Yeeun first came as a new freshman. "Upon Yeeun's arrival at the church, it was love at first sight. She fell for Yaesung's charming personality, good looks, and magnificent singing. She pursued after him for months on end. He finally agreed to give her an opportunity to prove her worth as a qualifying candidate for his girlfriend..."

Yeeun studied Nursing at the University of Kentucky and Yaesung studied Music Education at Asbury University. The two had been good friends for two years until something mutually sparked over friendly banters and late-night conversations (who first liked the either will forever be a debate). After a while of Yeeun shivering in cold weather waiting for Yaesung to confess his feelings over the phone (the two didn't have a car at the time and Yeeun had been over at Yejin''s place that night), the two finally decided (or more like Yaesung admitted) that they wanted to be in a committed relationship.

Now, as we face the next chapter in our lives, we have decided to commit our lives to each other in a union that may be delightful in the eyes of God.

We are so thankful for everyone who has been a part of our lives to shape us as loving and forgiving followers of Christ. Thank you for being a part of our story (whether it's written here or not) and we are so excited to celebrate the happiest day of our lives with you on June 15th, 2024.
