For those who don't know, we've been together since 2018! High school sweethearts! Our journey began with our first love, music.

Liam's Version-

I was a senior in High school, and I was in a lull, I wasn't in football or wrestling anymore and Gymnastics hadn't started. I still hadn't picked out my college route and school was the last thing on my mind.

I was playing guitar in the basement when Gage came down and told me this girl named Yesi, to which I replied "who?", needed a guitar player for the talent show. I didn't want to do it. First off, I didn't like the song she picked. But Gage forced me to go to the first practice, saying that I didn't have to go next time if I didn't like it. Little did I know this was day I would meet my future wife.

Yesenia's Version-

I was in my junior year of high school, never dated anyone. Wasn't actively looking either. I wanted my pop star moment, so I auditioned for the talent show 2017, didn't make the cut. I wanted a guarantee in the following year so I thought best to add more people, less likely for rejection. So, 2018 I wanted to audition again but this time with a more performative song with a live band.

I barely knew anyone who played instruments, but this one guy Gage, that I have barely spoke two words to seemed nice enough and, had a brother, Liam who also plays guitar. They were both in the show choir band. Luckily enough, they both showed up to practice.

After practice, I asked Liam for his number since we were only communicating through Gage. Next thing I know, we were talking back in forth for hours and nothing to do with that talent show.
