How They Met

In 2015, Yesenia moved to Bessemer St., unknowingly becoming neighbors with the Siles family. A year later, a serendipitous encounter occurred. Yesenia was out walking her dogs when she crossed paths with Ranses, who was heading to his car to go to work. They literally ran into each other on the sidewalk, and in that moment, they both felt an undeniable spark—love at first sight. Though they didn't get to introduce themselves properly that day, the encounter left a lasting impression on both of them.

The Car Wash Connection

Several months later, their paths crossed again in an unexpected way. Yesenia's mom had discovered that Ranses’ brother, Uli, washed cars. After an accident involving a car battery in the trunk of Yesenia's car, her mom suggested she reach out to Uli for help. This brought Yesenia and Ranses together once more, giving them the chance to finally meet formally. From that moment on, their connection grew stronger. It took a few years for their romantic journey to begin, but in 2019, Yesenia and Ranses started dating, officially embarking on their love story.

The Proposal

Ranses has always had a deep love for Japanese culture, and he wanted to share this passion with Yesenia. During a trip to Tokyo, he chose a beautiful and memorable location to propose—in front of the Zojoji Temple near the iconic Tokyo Tower. The proposal was a magical moment that marked a new chapter in their lives together.

Tying the Knot

Now, Yesenia and Ranses are excited to announce that they will be tying the knot on the very street where they first met—Bessemer St.—on August 24, 2024. Their journey has come full circle, and they are thrilled to celebrate this special day with their loved ones.
