Our story began with Tinder. Ray had sent me a very corny/bad pickup line the night we matched. I opened his message, read it, and then went to bed. I didn’t give his message much thought because it was such a bad line. “Damn girl, you so bright I gotta look away so I don’t go blind from all that UV lights fucking up my eyes.” So the next day he messaged me AGAIN. This time he was apologizing for the bad pickup line he had sent and he even explained how he was drinking that night so he was pretty buzzed when he sent it to me. I laughed and told him “it’s fine, very original.” After that we just kept talking. The first night we met we both fell in love, we stayed up all night talking about our lives, dreams, and a few corny jokes here and there. We lived in two different cities 2 hours away from each other but we always commuted back/fourth every weekend. It was a whirlwind romance! 1 week after meeting we started dating, 3 months later we got engaged, 4 months later we moved in together, and 10 months later we started a family. Now here we are a few years later getting married! Corny pickup lines are my favorite and ray wrote the worst one I’ve heard and won.
