January 28th, 2018, in the town of New Paltz where both Yesimel and Peter attended college was where the couples love story manifested.

It was at a Frat house to be exact, not the ideal environment to find the love of your life but luck was surely on their side.

Peter and Yesimel both enjoyed nights out with their friends to have a few drinks and relieve stress from studying and schoolwork, as did most college students. However, the way they suddenly crossed paths and the timing was impeccable.

Neither of them would ever attend Fraternity or Sorority gatherings but for some reason they both found themselves at a Frat Party that night. Yesimel’s roommate was dating the Fraternity president and the president sat next to Peter in his business class. That evening, Yesimel headed to the Frat party along with all her girlfriends because it was her friend’s birthday. Peter was always invited to the parties by his classmate but never cared to go. One evening when Peters close friends were out of town, he decided to go for the first time to meet up with his classmate.

After mingling and having a few drinks Peter was heading over to grab another beer where he was stopped in his tracks by the only women who could suck all the air out of the room “Yesimel”. Peter stumbling over his words he kindly asked if he could pass through to grab a beer, conversation began with Peter and Yesimel who then proceeded to play beer pong together. Although they were not the best, they were enjoying each other’s company and from that point on they never let go of one another.

Although I shouldn’t say never let go that night!

A few minutes later they were lost in a crowd of people searching for each other, they finally reconnected and walked along with many other friends to what became known as their favorite bar Murphys!

Upon arrival to the bar, Peter noticed he did not have any cash and went to use the ATM. Yesimel who was also with her friends went into the bar with the girls and was waiting for Peter.

After finally getting to the bar Peter walked around and around in circles convinced that Yesimel left him at that point with out sharing phone numbers or even saying it was nice talking to you have a good night. As Peter, was disappointed he started to head outside of the bar and head home he once again was greeted by Yesimel, and they reconnected.

After spending some time dancing it was getting a bit late and Yesimel wanted to head back to her dorm. Like the gentleman that he is Peter offered to walk her home. On the walk they shared some stories and noticed their birthdays were October 7th and October 11th. In disbelief they exchanged IDS and started to laugh, as they wondered. Was this meant to be?

Along the way they stopped on a bench outside of the courthouse to chat and get to know each other more! wink-wink xoxo

As it was getting late, they were both getting tired they began to walk up the hill towards the dorms, suddenly Peter noticed he forgot his glasses on the bench and had to run and get them. Once he got back from a long sprint and out of breath a few minutes later Yesimel was no where to be found.

Once, again Peter thought this beautiful girl who was out of his league left him in the dust. And he still didn’t get her phone number.

After calling out her name a few times and no response or sight of Yesimel anywhere, just as he was about to head home suddenly Yesimel jumped out from behind some trees.

I guess you can say when you have to go, you have to go. Lol

Peter was so happy to see her and promised to get her phone number and take her out on a date the next day. After walking her back to the dorms and saying goodnight the rest was history!

El 28 de enero del 2018, en la ciudad de New Paltz, donde tanto Yesimel como Peter asistieron a la universidad, fue donde se manifestó la historia de amor de la pareja.

Fue en una casa de fraternidad para ser exactos, no era el ambiente ideal para encontrar el amor de tu vida, pero la suerte definitivamente estaba de su lado.

Peter y Yesimel disfrutaban la noche con sus amigos tomando unas copas para aliviar el estrés del estudio y las tareas escolares, al igual que la mayoría de los estudiantes universitarios. Sin embargo, la forma en que repentinamente se cruzaron sus caminos fue impecable.

Ninguno de los dos le gustaba asistir a las reuniones de fraternidad o hermandad, pero por alguna razón ambos se encontraron en una fiesta de fraternidad esa noche. La compañera de habitación de Yesimel estaba saliendo con el presidente de la Fraternidad y el presidente se sentaban junto a Peter en su clase de negocios. Esa noche, Yesimel se dirigió a la fiesta de Fraternidad junto con todas sus amigas porque era el cumpleaños de una de ellas. El compañero de clase de Peter siempre lo invitaba a las fiestas, pero nunca quería ir. Una tarde, cuando los amigos cercanos de Peter estaban fuera de la ciudad, entonces Peter decidió ir por primera vez para encontrarse con su compañero de clase.

Después de socializar y tomar unas copas, Peter se dirigía a tomar otra cerveza cuando de repente vio a la única mujer que podía succionar el aire de la habitación, lo detuvo en seco. Peter tropezando con sus palabras, preguntó amablemente si podía pasar para tomar una cerveza, así empezó la conversación entre Peter y Yesimel, quienes luego procedieron a jugar al pong de cerveza juntos. Aunque no eran los mejores, disfrutaban de la compañía del uno y del otro y desde ese momento nunca se soltaron.

¡Literalmente no se soltaron esa noche!

Unos minutos más tarde se perdieron en una multitud de personas, finalmente se reconectaron y caminaron junto con sus amistades a su bar favorito, Murphys. Al llegar al bar, Peter notó que no tenía efectivo y fue a usar el cajero automático. Yesimel que también estaba con sus amigas entró al bar con las chicas y estaba esperando a Peter. Después de finalmente llegar al bar, Peter dio vueltas y vueltas en círculos convencido de que Yesimel lo había dejado en ese momento sin compartir números de teléfono o sin decir adiós o buenas noches. Como Peter, estaba decepcionado, comenzó a salir del bar y dirigirse a casa, una vez más, Yesimel lo saludó y se volvieron a conectar.

Después de pasar un rato bailando, se estaba haciendo un poco tarde y Yesimel quería regresarse a su dormitorio. Como el caballero que es, Peter se ofreció a acompañarla a casa. En el camino compartieron algunas historias y notaron que sus cumpleaños eran el 7 y el 11 de octubre. Con incredulidad, intercambiaron identificaciones y comenzaron a reír, mientras se preguntaban. ¿Este es nuestro destino?

En el camino se detuvieron en un banco fuera del juzgado de la ciudad para charlar y conocerse más xoxo

Como se estaba haciendo tarde, ambos se estaban cansando y comenzaron a caminar hacia los dormitorios, de repente Peter notó que olvidó sus anteojos en el banco y tuvo que correr a buscarlos.

Una vez más el regresó de una larga carrera sin aliento buscando a Yesimel y no la podría encontrarla.

Peter pensó que esta hermosa chica que estaba fuera de su alcance lo dejó plantado. Y él todavía no había conseguido su número de teléfono.

Después de gritar su nombre varias veces y no recibir respuesta, justo cuando estaba a punto de irse a casa, Yesimel saltó de repente de detrás de unos árboles.

Supongo que puedes decir que cuando tienes que ir, tienes que ir. Jajaja

Peter estaba tan feliz de verla y prometió conseguir su número de teléfono y salir con ella al día siguiente. Después de acompañarla de regreso a los dormitorios y darle las buenas noches, ¡el resto fue historia!
