How do we start..... Eric and I met in what seemed like the most unconventional way, but was the perfect way for us! After consciously deciding we wanted to explore dating, we both tried to figure out how to meet like-minded people with compatible interests, goals and outlook in life. But that can be hard, when you don't go out! Lol.... So yes we signed up on Match.com! In December 2019 he came across my profile and complimented me on my smile.... and after our first amazing date at this little Thai place,.... we've been smiling ever since!
After a few months of going out on dates and getting to know each other, COVID hit in March. Its funny, we both say we're not sure what would have become of our newly blooming friendship had COVID not happened. We isolated ourselves with many homecooked meals and Netflix movie nights! Our friendship grew as we learned more about each other, explored the things we both love doing and found a new passion for life.
To me, Eric is love, comfort and a fresh breath of life. He tells me I am beautiful EVERY day, and that I am his 'Good Thing".
We are so equally yoked, share the same love language (which is so important) and thankful that God allowed our paths to cross.
After a year and seemingly becoming obvious to those who know us best, we fell madly and happily in love! We started to see a future for us together. Eric, being the ol' school gentleman that he is (which I absolutely adore) orchestrated asking both Isiah, my mother and my brother for their blessing. On February 26 in Sacramento CA, with my son and mother at dinner with us, Eric surprised me and proposed with the most beautiful engagement ring. The decision to marry is monumental, yet so easy when it's the right person you love. I am so blessed, beyond my dreams....
So after living 50 miles apart, we are blending our lives and our families in our love. We look forward to you celebrating our day of love with us.
