My maid of honor is my younger sister, Veronica, who has been by my side through life’s highs and lows. We’re only a year and a half apart, so we grew up inseparable—playing together, going to school together, and even sharing the same group of friends. As her big sister, I’ve always felt the need to protect her because I’ve always seen her as so little and precious. Over the years, I even gave her a special nickname, ‘Benie,’ which has stuck with her to this day. Veronica is more than my sister; she’s my lifelong confidant, partner in crime, and best friend. I couldn’t imagine my wedding day without her standing by my side.

Ivania and I met in high school when I was a freshman, and she was a junior. From the start, she became like a big sister to me, always looking out for me. Over the past 14 years, we’ve shared so many unforgettable memories—from parties and sleepovers to planning our futures and celebrating graduations. Ivania has been there to see me at my lowest and cheer me on as I’ve risen stronger. She’s the friend who always supports me and offers advice when I need it most. I’m beyond grateful to have her by my side for this special moment in my life, and I can’t wait to create even more memories together.

Diana and I met at church, and we connected instantly, quickly becoming close friends. Since 2016, we’ve shared countless memories together—from sleepovers to missionary trips in Mexico, gatherings, and so much more. We’ve been there for each other through tears, laughter, and everything in between. Diana has been such an important part of my life, and I’m so grateful for our friendship. I look forward to many more years filled with unforgettable memories and great times together.

Karla and I became friends in 2015, and since then, she has been such a blessing in my life. From countless sleepovers to leading a youth group at church together, we’ve shared so many wonderful memories. One of the most special moments was being there when she welcomed her beautiful daughter, Eli, into the world. Karla’s kindness, faith, and love have always inspired me, and I am beyond thankful to have her by my side on my wedding day. She’s not just a friend; she’s family.

Angie is one of those rare gems you meet in life. We first met during my first year of teaching when she was my mentor, and her sweet and creative nature quickly stood out. Over time, our connection grew beyond work, and she became one of my closest friends. Angie is always there to listen without judgment and offer support when it’s needed most. I am so grateful to have her in my wedding as one of my bridesmaid, and I look forward to all the beautiful moments our friendship will bring in the years to come.

Briana and I first met at work back in 2018, but we became much closer just last year. We both joined a program called Girls on the Run, and during one of our conversations, she casually mentioned that she had officiated a friend’s wedding. Jokingly, I told her she should marry Ali and me—and to my surprise, she said yes! Over time, I officially asked her, and she graciously accepted. I’m so excited to have Briana as our officiant. She’s one of the kindest and happiest people I know, always managing to find the silver lining in any situation. Having her as part of such an important day means so much to us, and we can’t wait for her to bring her positivity and warmth to our ceremony!
