Travel Dates
We recommend arriving to Medellin by either late Wednesday, January 29th or Early Thursday, January 30th, so that you don't miss any of the pre-wedding festivities.
Airport
The nearest airport is José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) in Rionegro, about 45 minutes from Medellin. Major airlines flying to MDE include American Airlines, Avianca, Copa Airlines, and LATAM. We recommend booking flights early and using travel comparison websites like Skyscanner or Google Flights to find the best deals.
Airport Transportation
Upon arrival at MDE, we recommend using a ride-sharing service like Uber to ensure the best rate and safety. The estimated cost for a taxi ride is approximately $30 USD. Please note that the Uber driver may ask someone to sit in the front seat, since Uber is not technically legal in Colombia.

Accomodations
We have secured a 15% discount for our guests at the Click Clack Hotel if you book before November 15th. After this date, a 12% discount will apply. To book your room under the wedding block, please book directly through the hotel and use the booking code [YUSNAVYFEB2025MDERABI] when making your reservation.
Transportation to Wedding
We have arranged bus transportation for our guests, providing pickup from the Click Clack Hotel to the wedding venue and back. Pick up from the hotel at 3pm!
Local Transportation
We will provide transportation to and from the wedding venue. Outside of this, we highly recommend downloading Uber for the safest and most inexpensive transportation. Uber Comfort vehicles tend to be more spacious and have air conditioning. They also provide additional safety since you don't have to roll down your windows for air, so you may want to pay a little extra for this service.

Travel Documents
Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Depending on your nationality, you might need a tourist visa to enter Colombia. Check the visa requirements on the Colombian Embassy Website.
Additionally, all travelers must fill out the Check-MIG form prior to arrival in Colombia. This form can be completed online within 24 hours before your flight. You can find the form and instructions on the Check-MIG website.
Safety
Medellin is generally very safe, especially in the Poblado area. However, it's always wise to remain vigilant. Be cautious of pickpockets and consider avoiding wearing expensive jewelry while walking through the streets. We also recommend Uber transportation over Yellow Taxis.
CURRENCY & PAYMENTS
The local currency is the Colombian Peso (COP). If you are unsure about the cost of an item or service you can generally divide by 4,000 to get an idea of roughly how much you are spending in dollars. ATMs are widely available, and credit cards are accepted in most places. For currency exchange, options are available at the airport and in the city.
WEATHER
February in Medellin is typically warm with average temperatures around 24°C (75°F). We recommend packing light, breathable clothing and comfortable shoes for exploring the city.
